At last I have found a computer with sound and have managed to get past the first week, and discovered that it was surprisingly easy to get to this point. The hardest part was to stop procrastinating and geton with it.
However although I use email all the time, sending this out into the unknown does not feel like a natural or desirable thing for me to do. I can see that there are lots of interest groups where the use of a blog could be both interesting and useful, and I can also see that for those who want to get information out to a wide range of people it is an excellent resource......but I have yet to be convinced it is for me. Oh well, maybe I'll just go and read some others and see what happens next!
